Set in a charming 600 year old hall house and new £3 million state of the art exhibition centre with a host of exciting new attractions. New 1930s style Nippys tea room, remodelled English country garden with magnificent views across the 1066 Sussex countryside, children’s bygone play village and play area. Over 100,000 artefacts, collected over the past 40 years. Evocative sounds, smells and 3D interactive displays bring the whole experience to life.

Accessibility

Due to the age of the building and its listed status, wheelchair access is unfortunately limited to the ground floor of the medieval building. The new exhibition centre is completely accessible with lift access to both floors, the tea room and garden. Full disabled toilets with baby changing facilities.
