Housed in an eighteenth century corn store, the Museum explores the history of Chichester and district. Find out about geology and fossils, pre-history, including Boxgrove Man, Roman, Saxon and Medieval Chichester.  Explore the role played by Chichester during the English Civil War and how the city has changed from Georgian times through to the present day.  Around the galleries are a wide range of hands-on activities including pottery sorting, mosaic rubbing, word searches and activity sheets.

Limited Access. 
Access: We regret that the first floor galleries of the Museum , where the temporary exhibition gallery, Georgian, Victorian and 20th century galleries are situated are only accessible by means of a stairway. The ground floor archaeology gallery and reception areas are accessible to wheelchair users.
