The museum, which is now housed  in a purpose built building, covers local history of East Grinstead and neighbouring parishes in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.  Displays cover the development of the town and local craft industries.  Collections include over 10,000 photographs, a good collection of material from the East Grinstead Pottery (1845-1943) and original artwork by Geoffrey Webb.  There is also a programme of temporary exhibitions and activities.
