The main exhibit is the remains of the north wing of a
palatial first century AD building, protected by a cover building. The
remains include the largest collection of in-situ Roman mosaics in
Britain. In addition, the
collections include artefacts from forty years of excavation on and
around the palace site, the most important of which are displayed in the
site museum. |
