The Fishermen's Museum is housed in a former church, built on the beach in 1854, to minister to the local fishing community.
The impressive centrepiece is the Enterprise, built in 1912 as one of the last of the Hastings sailing luggers. The museum is very much at the heart of the local community with photographs, model ships and boats, fishing gear, historic paintings and much more, including an albatross.
Adjacent to the Museum is the Edward and Mary, the first locally built boat to be constructed with an engine installed in 1919.
