Collections An extensive archive of photographs, pictures, maps and other material relating to the history of the Town and Port of Newhaven and the surrounding area. Special exhibits relate to Newhaven Lifeboat and the secret second world war tunnels known as HMS Forward, from where the Dieppe Raid and the Normandy landings were controlled. Also available are alphabetically indexed copies of all local censuses.
