This beautifully restored early 19th century fortress provides the perfect setting for the largest military museum in the south east. Collections on display include our county regiment, The Royal Sussex Regiment; the senior cavalry regiment of the British Army: The Queen’s Royal Irish Hussars and the Sussex Combined Services  charting the local area’s longstanding relationship with the military.
