restored early 19th century fortress provides the perfect
setting for the largest military museum in the south east. Collections
on display include our county regiment, The Royal Sussex Regiment; the
senior cavalry regiment of the British Army: The Queen’s Royal Irish
Hussars and the Sussex Combined Services charting the local area’s
longstanding relationship with the military. |
